Dream11 Fantasy Update: Check Current Product Changes

The announcement and the terms have different dates

Dream Sports announced on 27 August 2026 that Dream11 had completed its move away from pure-play fantasy sports, listing content, live streaming, statistics, scores, commentary, community, experiences and social contests. It expressly said all prizes were discontinued. The statement describes the publisher’s product direction at that date; it is not a personal account test or a ruling on every past transaction.

The reviewed terms show an effective date of 5 December 2025 and a later update of 8 October 2026. They still describe free-to-play leagues alongside content, AI and other services. Keep the update date distinct from the original effective date. An old article repeating the word fantasy is not enough to establish the current entry conditions, available prizes or account features.

• 5 December 2025: the effective date shown in the reviewed terms; it is not the date on which every later feature became available.
• 27 August 2026: the Dream Sports product announcement says prizes were discontinued and describes the sports-engagement direction.
• 28 September 2026: the update date displayed in the reviewed Indian Play metadata; Apple’s reviewed release date is 30 September 2026. Both store records reported version 7.10.3.
• 8 October 2026: the later terms update shown in the reviewed document. Read current feature wording against these dates instead of assuming all sources describe the same release or transaction.

Why free-league and cash-reward wording may coexist

The public Play description still uses rewards and win wording, and the listing displays a Cash rewards badge. The terms also retain a sentence about taxes on any winnings. We have not silently removed these observations or used them to overrule the August discontinuation statement. They are inconsistent public wording that needs a current, feature-specific explanation from the provider.

The supported distinction is narrower: the current documents describe free leagues, and some other platform features can require payment. Neither fact establishes a cash-entry league or withdrawable reward. A subscription, a DreamBucks interaction and a league leaderboard are different products or activities. Do not combine their names into an offer that no source has demonstrated.

Old APK and latest-version searches do not settle the change

The Android store item and iPhone item currently use different titles and channel-specific version information. Updating an app may change the interface, but product eligibility, events and prizes can also be controlled by the service. An older APK does not prove that a discontinued format will operate, and we did not test an old build, a rollback or a modified app.

Use the publisher-linked app guide for the observed distribution chain. A third-party page that changes its title to the current year must still show evidence for its file, publisher and feature claims. COME entries and Dream11 Com records remain separate from Sporta’s Dream11; a similar filename is not evidence of a restored official feature.

For an update question, keep two records: the installed channel/version and the feature you expected to return. A Play or Apple update is an app-distribution action; whether an event, cash format or account balance is available is a service/account question. If the app is current but the expected feature is absent, record the screen and consult the applicable provider guidance. The old filename, the current year in a search title and a remaining store badge do not resolve that discrepancy.

What about an old balance, withdrawal or refund?

The product announcement does not establish the outcome of an individual historical balance or payment. This audit did not verify a current withdrawal screen, minimum amount, bank or UPI route, processing time, PAN requirement or tax rate. A download guide cannot supply those missing account-specific facts. Keep the original transaction or balance record and use the provider’s confirmed Help and Support route for the applicable case.

Distinguish a past wallet enquiry from a current store purchase such as a subscription or in-app item. The October terms discuss purchases, billing and indirect taxes; that does not by itself describe a historic cash-wallet withdrawal. We did not request a refund, contact support or submit identity information. No payout or recovery outcome is implied by the presence of those topics in this guide.

• Past cash-wallet or withdrawal record: keep the date, reference, displayed status and account access you still have, then ask Dream11’s confirmed support route about that particular record. No current payout time or tax rate is inferred.
• Current subscription or in-app purchase: identify who billed the charge from the receipt. Apple/Google cancellation or refund guidance applies only when that store billed it.
• Cannot access the account holding the record: resolve the access task through the account guide; a new registration does not document transfer or recovery of the old balance.

What changed for registration and existing accounts?

For Indian use, the reviewed terms require 18+, residence in India and a valid Indian mobile number, and permit one account per user. The announcement does not establish that an old account must be replaced, that its credentials work in a COME app, or that a new account will restore an absent balance. Use the registration and recovery distinctions in the login guide rather than treating a second registration as an update procedure.

If the app opens but a feature is missing, record the exact feature and current screen. If a code never arrives, that is an access task. If installation fails, it is a device or distribution task. These distinctions help a support request identify the right stage without claiming that all failures are caused by the product change.

Is there a confirmed return date for prizes?

The sources reviewed for this audit do not establish a future return date for discontinued prizes or a promised new cash format. A social post, an old paid-contest screenshot or a remaining store badge is not a new product announcement. A stronger claim would need a dated, current statement identifying the feature and its Indian terms. We do not predict a legal outcome or a relaunch.

A useful current answer must name the specific feature and a dated provider statement or rule that supports it. Until such a statement establishes a return, this guide cannot supply a relaunch month, bonus, deposit offer or legal conclusion. Use the present app guide for distribution, the account guide for access, and the features guide for the documented free leagues and fan activities. None requires treating an old cash-fantasy tutorial as a current offer.

Cancel a subscription or request a purchase refund

Start with the receipt rather than the phone you use now. Check the item, billing company, purchase date and the Apple or Google Account used. A subscription bought through Apple and an old Dream11 wallet record have different records and request routes. If another company billed the item, a store’s refund page is not proof that it can handle that charge. Keep the transaction reference for the identified provider; the steps below are the stores’ published processes, not a Dream11 purchase we completed.

For a subscription billed by Apple, its current guide gives iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → the subscription → Cancel Subscription. If no Cancel button appears or an expiry message is shown, Apple says it is already cancelled. If the item is missing, check the account on the Apple receipt; the guide also distinguishes subscriptions billed by another company. For a Google Play-billed subscription, Google’s guide says to open subscriptions in Play while using the account that holds them, select the subscription, choose Cancel subscription and follow the instructions. Google explicitly says uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription.

A refund is another request. Apple’s published process starts at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in with the purchasing Apple Account, choose Request a refund from “I’d like to”, give the reason and select the item. It says some purchases may be eligible, and approval and return of funds are separate stages. Google’s refund policy similarly depends on what was bought, when and how it was paid for, and the user’s location; follow the applicable request route in that policy. These documents do not guarantee a refund, establish a Dream11-specific deadline or supply the outcome of a historical wallet enquiry.

Account deletion is separate again. Dream11’s privacy policy directs an account/personal-data deletion request to Help and Support. Cancelling renewal does not establish that personal data has been erased; deleting local software does not establish either cancellation or an approved refund. Decide which result you need and retain the acknowledgement or status from the party handling that request. We did not sign in, cancel, submit a refund or send a deletion request.
