Watch Alongs, live sport and match information

The Play listing describes Watch Alongs hosted by creators, with commentary, chat, polls, gifts and other interactions around matches. It names Indian T20 League examples, including MI versus CSK and RCB fixtures. Those are the listing’s examples; they are not a current fixture schedule or a guarantee that every named creator appears for your match. Check the event and its start time inside the product.

Dream Sports and the Apple description also advertise live sport and sports experiences. A creator Watch Along, an official match feed and a live score are different features. A listing can advertise more than one without proving the rights or access conditions for every broadcast. This review did not watch a stream, test latency or verify a subscription entitlement for a particular event.

• First identify the match, competition and date. An old listing example is not the schedule for tonight’s fixture.
• Read the event label: creator commentary, an official match feed, a scorecard and a league each provide a different experience. Check the stated access conditions for that exact event.
• For a stream that will not play, record whether other app screens load and whether the problem concerns the event, sign-in or a purchase entitlement. That is more specific than describing every issue as the app not working.

Free fantasy teams: the published starting point

The Apple description says users can build a fantasy XI, select a captain and vice-captain, join public contests or start a private one with friends for free. The Play description similarly outlines choosing a match, selecting players and joining free leagues. The October terms call league access free-to-play. These sources describe the basic activity, rather than a tested team submission or proof of a cash prize.

The terms link directly to Dream11’s public cricket how-to-play and scoring page. That page has different formats, including T20, OD, Test, T10 and The Hundred. Start with the format of the actual league. Copying one points table across formats can change the answer to a captain, dot-ball or wicket query. We did not submit a team, measure ranking or test a private-league invitation.

For a first free-league task, the published sequence is to choose the relevant match, build the allowed team, select captain and vice-captain, and use the free league or private-contest route shown for that event. Read the displayed selection constraints and deadline before submission; the public rules include format-specific variants, so an XI example does not define every contest. The useful preparation is the format, chosen players, role constraints, multipliers and lock time. This is a documentary account of the advertised activity, not a submitted team or a promise of a particular contest being open.

Captain, vice-captain, playing XI and Impact Player

The public rules page lists captain points at 2× and vice-captain at 1.5×. Its T20 section separately lists announced-lineup and playing-substitute points. The important distinction is participation: the detailed substitute note says an announced Concussion, X-Factor, Impact Player or full-time replacement does not receive playing points merely for being announced; the eligible player must actually play to receive those points and contributions. A name in a substitute list is not the same as a confirmed starting player.

These are rule references, not team-selection recommendations or a winning prediction. The page also notes that an announced starter who cannot start receives no points, while the player who actually replaces them can earn points under the rules. Before relying on an old screenshot, compare its format, scoring revision and substitute rules with the live league. We do not publish a universal scoring table for all cricket formats.

A simple calculation clarifies the multiplier without making a prediction. If a player’s relevant base fantasy score is 40 points, applying the published 2× captain multiplier gives 80 and the 1.5× vice-captain multiplier gives 60. The example assumes that 40 is the correct base total under that format; it does not calculate a player’s real match score or decide whether a particular contribution is eligible. Check the base scoring event first, then the multiplier, rather than treating a multiplier as a substitute for the rules.

Toss, league deadline and live point changes

For an Indian cricket fixture, the toss, published playing XI and league deadline can occur close together, but they are different events. Use the deadline displayed for the league rather than assuming it always equals the scheduled match start. Record IST explicitly if you are comparing a screenshot with a schedule from another time zone. This is a way to identify the event accurately, not a claim that we tested the app’s time-zone conversion.

The terms allow the provider to adjust deadlines or abandon leagues around delays and other specified circumstances. The public scoring page also says live points can change while a match is in progress or waiting for review. A provisional points difference is therefore not itself proof that a final leaderboard is wrong. For a dispute, keep the format, league, player, relevant ball or event and displayed status; this site has not checked a submitted team or processed a scoring appeal.

• Format and event: record T20, OD, Test or the specific format shown, together with the match and league. Do not compare two players across different scoring tables without saying so.
• Player and contribution: identify the run, catch, wicket, substitute appearance or other event in question, using the scorecard and the applicable rule.
• Multiplier and status: record captain or vice-captain selection and whether the display says In progress, Waiting for review or completed. The rules allow provisional totals to change before completion.

DreamBucks, gifts and Shout Outs

The Play description says users can win or buy DreamBucks and use them for pinned chats, Shout Outs, gifts and creator interactions such as Squad Goals. It also describes Hit or Miss as a way to earn DreamBucks. These statements explain their advertised in-app use. The reviewed description does not establish a conversion to rupees, a transferable bank balance, a withdrawal route or a fixed rate we can publish.

A purchase for chat visibility is different from paying an entry fee for a money-prize league. Before any purchase, read the displayed amount, what it buys and the terms applying to that item. We did not buy DreamBucks, send a gift, check expiry, process a refund or verify account balances. The existence of a buy button or the word rewards does not independently establish withdrawable cash.

For a DreamBucks balance question, first say what you expected to do: acquire an in-app unit, use it for an interaction, or withdraw money. The store text documents the first two types of use but does not establish the third. A receipt for an in-app purchase should be handled through its billing channel; an unavailable interaction needs the item, event and displayed error. No rupee conversion, expiry period or withdrawal minimum is supplied here because those facts have not been established.

Rhea AI, stats and predictions

Apple’s description and release notes mention Rhea AI sports entertainment, quizzes, trivia and short sports content. The terms describe AI Companions and warn that generated statistics, insights, performance reviews and commentary may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Treat an AI answer as a claim to check against the match’s primary data, rather than an official playing-XI announcement or guaranteed prediction.

For a late injury, toss decision or substitute, the date, event and source of an update matter more than confident wording. We have not tested Rhea AI accuracy, response time, Hindi fluency or personalised recommendations. The terms also advise against sharing sensitive information in AI interactions. A product description alone cannot establish those performance outcomes.

Subscriptions, charges and invoices in India

The terms say access is free but some subscriptions, premium visibility and in-app purchases may carry a charge. They discuss GST or other applicable indirect taxes and invoices through the relevant store payment or billing system. This describes the published policy, not a current rupee price, renewal period or refund entitlement for every plan. Check the particular item and receipt rather than borrowing an amount from an old ad-free subscription review.

A billing problem should identify the purchase channel, transaction reference, date and item. A league-points question should identify the league and scoring event. The two should not be combined into a claim that a subscription guarantees winnings or priority in free contests. We did not purchase, renew, cancel or request a refund, and have not verified which payment methods are offered to an individual Indian account.

Feature access, language and next steps

Indian eligibility in the terms is 18+, residence in India and a valid Indian mobile number, with one account per user. A feature advertised internationally does not override those Indian conditions. This en-IN guide uses Indian English; it does not certify a Hindi interface or support service. Apple’s public record listed English, while actual feature and language availability still needs to be checked in the relevant product.

Use the app guide for a download or installation issue, the login guide for registration, OTP and recovery boundaries, and the changes guide for historical cash-fantasy questions. The public sources support those separate explanations. They do not make this a report of a watched match, joined league, tested AI answer, successful account or payment.

Second-innings formats and old scoring screenshots

The cricket rules page read for this review includes a distinct 2nd Innings format. It says any five players can be selected without role or squad minimum conditions, ranks entries using second-innings player points only, and does not award announced points in that format. Its displayed lock point is the end of the innings break before the first ball of the second innings. These are rules for that named variant; they must not be substituted for the rules of a conventional full-match XI.

The same page sets a separate early-start protocol for that variant. This shows why a screenshot saying “choose 11” or showing a scheduled start is not enough to settle every deadline query. Identify the exact format and the rules attached to the current league before comparing it with an older guide. The presence of the public rule does not establish that a second-innings contest is currently available to every account or fixture.
